In the 4th page of the Bombay times-you are still in Bombay -it is said in Mars it is always sunny yet it is cold .Why Mars alone?All planets of the solar system are always sunny as sun is always shining.Because of the rotation only, half of earth is sunny and the shadow cone created by the earth`s opaque nature we get darkness in that cone’s base area.If only we could see beyond the cone"’s tip sun light will be visible!The shadow cone cuts off sun’s glare facilitating our eyes to see the stars/moon/otherplanetary bodies.One can see Jupiter also like a crescent moon by the aid of binoculars.So it is not a very correct information.R.Krishnamoorthy.
